BROOKLYN, NY—A 45-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Wednesday morning at the intersection of Avenue K and East 53rd Street, prompting a swift police response. Officers arrived at the scene at approximately 8:01 AM following a 911 call reporting an assault in progress within the 63rd Precinct.

The victim, who suffered multiple stab wounds to his head and abdomen, was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital by EMS. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The victim’s identity has not been released, pending notification of his family.

Currently, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The investigation by local authorities is ongoing as they seek information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the assailant.
