Delaware State Police Seek Information on Laurel Home Invasion

LAUREL, DE – Early this morning, the Delaware State Police responded to a distressing home invasion in the 32000 block of Old Stage Road in Laurel.

The incident, which occurred at approximately 6:07 a.m. on May 29, involved two unidentified suspects who forcibly entered a residence, assaulted the homeowner with what appeared to be a firearm, and restrained him. The victim sustained minor injuries during the ordeal. Following the assault, the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money and property.

The homeowner managed to reach the front door and signal for help from a passing vehicle. Currently, there are no available descriptions of the suspects, and surveillance footage has not been obtained.

Detectives from the Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit are conducting an in-depth investigation and urge anyone with information related to this crime to come forward.
