During a weekly press conference, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi touted the Democrat controlled Congress’ achievements during the recent legislative session. Pelosi credited her party with delivering lower costs to consumers, bigger paychecks and safer communities.
“We put people over politics,” Pelosi said. “Lower costs…for example, lower healthcare costs, bigger paychecks and safer communities.”
