Driver killed in Roosevelt Boulevard crash, two passengers injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A morning crash on Roosevelt Boulevard left one man dead and two others injured Friday, authorities said.

The collision happened at 7:57 a.m. in the northbound inner lanes at Adams Avenue. The adult male driver was pronounced dead at the scene just minutes later, at 8:01 a.m.

Two passengers who were inside the vehicle were transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where they remain in stable condition.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Crash Investigation Division is handling the case. No further details about the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved have been released.
