Duo on motorbike sought in Bronx armed robbery of man’s $2,200 necklaces

The NYPD is searching for two men who robbed a 40-year-old man at gunpoint in the Bronx, making off with more than $2,000 in jewelry before fleeing on a motorized bike, police said.

The incident occurred Sunday at around 5:45 p.m. outside 2255 Jerome Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct, according to investigators.

Authorities said the two unidentified individuals approached the victim while riding a two-wheeled motorized bike. One of the suspects displayed a firearm and forcibly removed the victim’s necklaces, which were valued at approximately $2,200.

The suspects fled the scene westbound on Buchanan Place. The victim was not injured during the robbery.

The first individual is described as a male wearing a black ski mask, black helmet, white tank top, black shorts, and black and white sneakers.

The second individual is described as a male wearing a black face mask, black helmet, black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white and black sneakers.
