LANCASTER, Pa. — An East Earl Township woman has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a 2023 crash that killed a father and daughter in Lancaster County.
Beth Fife, 52, pleaded guilty Aug. 19 before Judge Merrill Spahn to two counts each of homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter and recklessly endangering another person, along with three summary traffic offenses, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors said Fife was driving nearly 40 mph above the posted speed limit when she lost control of her vehicle on West 28th Division Highway in Penn Township in December 2023.
Her vehicle struck a vehicle occupied by Allen English and Grace English-Rohrer head-on. The victims’ vehicle caught fire after the collision, and both were killed.

Fife, who lives on Dawkins Drive, is scheduled to be sentenced by Spahn in December.
Assistant District Attorney Daniel Lingousky prosecuted the case. Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Cpl. Alex Good filed the charges in the fatal crash.
