East Village Fight ends in Box Cutter Slashing

In New York’s East Village, a 66-year-old man was critically injured after an altercation on Sunday, January 21. The incident occurred at approximately 5:05 PM in front of 404 East 14th Street. According to police reports, the victim confronted an individual who was urinating on a car. In response, the assailant brandished a box cutter and slashed the victim’s neck, causing a severe laceration and significant bleeding.

Following the attack, the perpetrator fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported by Emergency Medical Services to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in critical condition.

East Village Fight ends in Box Cutter Slashing

The police are currently investigating the incident and seeking information to identify the assailant. The public is encouraged to come forward with any relevant details to assist in the investigation.
