Maryland man arrested for attempted murder after overnight Baltimore shooting
BALTIMORE, MD — A Maryland man accused of shooting another man along Eastern Avenue overnight was arrested hours later and charged with attempted murder, according to Baltimore Police.
Investigators identified the suspect as 42-year-old Ryan Sekora of Vienna, Maryland.
Police said Sekora was wanted in connection with the shooting of a 37-year-old man that happened Thursday, May 7, in the 6200 block of Eastern Avenue.
Southeast District patrol officers initially responded around 2:08 a.m. for reports of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The man was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Later that same day, authorities located and arrested Sekora in the 1800 block of Dundalk Avenue.
Police said he was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with attempted murder and assault.
Additional details about the victim’s condition were not immediately released.
