Easton player celebrates $50K jackpot from scratch-off

EASTON, Conn. — A lucky lottery player from Easton claimed a $50,000 prize after playing the $1 Million Extreme Cash scratch-off game, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

Robert A., the winning ticket holder, purchased the ticket at Smoke World, located in Shelton. The $1 Million Extreme Cash game offers players a chance at a top prize of $1 million, with several other prize tiers, including the $50,000 tier Robert won.

The ticket was claimed on May 30. The $1 Million Extreme Cash scratch-off ticket costs $30 and remains one of the higher-stakes instant games in the state.

As of now, multiple top prizes are still available in the game, along with thousands of other cash awards ranging from $50 to $1 million.
