BAYONNE, NJ – A New Jersey Lottery player walked away with a $545,885 Fast Play jackpot Thursday after buying a $10 Winfall ticket at a Bayonne supermarket, capturing 100% of the progressive prize before the jackpot reset to $50,000.
The winning ticket was sold at Elbaum’s Supermarket, located at 182 Broadway in Bayonne, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
The ticket won the entire $545,885 Fast Play progressive jackpot.
Following the win, the progressive jackpot reset to $50,000.
Fast Play games allow players to immediately determine whether their ticket has won without waiting for a scheduled drawing.
The Lottery did not identify the Bayonne winner or provide information about when the prize would be claimed.
Hudson County produced another Fast Play winner just hours later Thursday.
A player purchased a $2 Jersey Jackpot ticket at Seabra Foods Kearny, located at 170 Schuyler Ave. in Kearny.
That ticket won $10,000, representing 20% of the Fast Play progressive jackpot.
The two wins put Hudson County at the center of a pair of Fast Play prizes on the same day, with the larger ticket taking more than half a million dollars.
