Elderly Man with Dementia Reported Missing in East Brunswick

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. — The East Brunswick Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Nelson Perez-Ponce, a 70-year-old resident of East Brunswick, who was last seen on Monday morning. Perez-Ponce, who suffers from dementia and heart disease, was reported missing after he was observed leaving his residence on Highway 18 near Aldrich Street at approximately 9:00 a.m.

Perez-Ponce is described as a Hispanic male, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, and bald. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a denim shirt, and a black baseball hat. Authorities have expressed concern for his well-being given his medical conditions.

The East Brunswick Police Department has urged anyone with information on Perez-Ponce’s whereabouts to contact them at 732-390-6901.

As the search continues, the department is requesting that the community remain vigilant and report any sightings immediately.
