ELIZABETH, NJ – Elizabeth Public Schools announced that all schools and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to current and forecasted weather conditions.
District officials said they will continue to monitor weather developments, local road conditions, and snow removal progress in coordination with local officials.
“If it is determined that the conditions will have an impact on school operations beyond Monday, January 26, we will update the school community accordingly,” Superintendent Dr. Olga Hugelmeyer said in a message to families.
The district thanked the community for its continued support and urged everyone to stay safe.
