Elmwood Park Woman Faces Charges for Theft and Impersonation

ELMWOOD PARK, NJ – Seqiera M. Washington of Elmwood Park has been charged with theft, receiving stolen property, and impersonation.

The announcement came from Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. The arrest followed an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office led by Chief Jason Love.

In September, an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office’s Financial Crimes Unit revealed that Washington had unauthorized possession of an electronic benefit transfer card of another individual.

She allegedly made cash withdrawals and purchases, totaling approximately $2,700 using the card.

On October 12, Washington was charged and subsequently released on her own recognizance. Her court appearance is scheduled in the Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.
