PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Crews are conducting emergency water department repairs at the busy intersection of North Beverwyck Road and Knoll Road, forcing multiple closures and detours expected to remain in place until 10 p.m. tonight, police announced.

According to the Parsippany Police Department, only northbound traffic on North Beverwyck Road remains open, allowing vehicles access toward River Road in Montville. Knoll Road is fully closed at River Road and cannot be used to reach Lake Hiawatha.

Drivers traveling north on Knoll Road are being detoured onto Katherine Drive and then back to North Beverwyck Road to navigate around the work zone.

Officials said no interruption to water service is expected during the emergency repair, but motorists should anticipate delays and seek alternate routes until the work is completed.

Emergency repairs have shut down part of Knoll Road in Parsippany, with detours expected until 10 p.m. tonight.
