Officers were dispatched to the scene on January 27 following a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Columbus Division of Police Homicide Unit is now leading the investigation and is asking for the public’s help. Detectives are specifically requesting any security video captured between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on January 27 within the vicinity of the shooting.
