Fatal Shooting Claims Life of Young Man in Northwest D.C.

Washington, D.C. – A shooting in Northwest D.C. has resulted in the death of 18-year-old Raymond Washington, as confirmed by the D.C. Metro Police Department.

The incident occurred on Saturday at around 4:17 p.m., following reports of gunshots in the 700 block of Missouri Avenue. Police officers quickly arrived and canvassed the area, eventually discovering Washington in the 5700 block of 7th Street, Northwest. Despite being rushed to a local hospital and receiving treatment, all efforts to save him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead.
