Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Under Investigation in Accomack County

ACCOMACK COUNTY, VA—Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning on Greenbush Road. The incident happened at 1:46 a.m. on June 2, 2024, near the intersection with Merry Branch Road.

A 2002 Acura RL, driven by Torey J. Duffy, 41, of Melfa, VA, crossed the centerline and collided with a 1997 Ford F150. Myron T. Bailey, a 51-year-old passenger in the Acura, died at the scene. Both Duffy and Bailey were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Duffy sustained minor injuries and has been charged with reckless driving. The driver of the Ford F150, Jose A. Mirando Saucedo, 31, of Parksley, VA, also suffered minor injuries. He was likewise wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
