Female Suspect Sought in D.C. Bank Robbery Attempt

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in connection with an attempted bank robbery. The incident took place yesterday at approximately 12:07 p.m. on the 2100 block of L Street in Northwest D.C.

Upon entering the bank, the suspect handed a note to a teller demanding money. When employees did not comply, the suspect fled without obtaining any property.

Surveillance footage captured the individual.
