Fire at Howell Windmill Club Condo Complex Causes Damage to Unit

HOWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Howell firefighters from the Southard Fire Department responded to a fire at the Windmill Condominium complex. Quick response by firefighters led to the containment of the fire to the rear of the structure causing minor damage that could have quickly spread to the rest of the unit.

The fire was contained to the exterior rear of the unit. Other responding agencies included Freewood Acres Fire Company, Squankum Fire Company, Jackson Station 55, Adelphia Fire Company, and Howell First Aid.

The situation was under control and first responders were cleared within an hour from the scene. No injuries were reported.
