NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The following is a report by the North Brunswick Fire Department, “Earlier this morning, the PD, North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Department, and North Brunswick First Aid & Rescue Squad, Inc. responded to Berkshire Lane for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, first arriving PD units found the end unit of Berkshire Lane to have fire pushing from the side of the residence. All residents were safely evacuated. The Fire Department arrived on scene and went to work, extinguishing the blaze. There were no reported injuries to any residents or responders. The fire is under investigation by the North Brunswick Fire Marshal’s Office. North Brunswick Township Office of Emergency Management is on scene assisting displaced residents.”
