Pikesville man charged with first-degree murder in fatal November attack
PIKESVILLE, MD — A 47-year-old man is behind bars without bail after being charged in connection with the November homicide of a 65-year-old man found dead inside a Pikesville residence.
Baltimore County Police announced that Michael West has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Emmanuel Grant Jr., who was discovered on Wednesday, November 12, at approximately 1:15 p.m. Officers responded to a “check on subject” call in the 1800 block of Snow Meadow Lane, where they located Grant with apparent upper body trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation by Baltimore County homicide detectives, West was taken into custody and remains held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail.
