Police say an adult man was assaulted and robbed of his cellphone before officers quickly arrested two of the five suspects.
ODENTON, Md. — A group of five men assaulted and robbed an adult man in Odenton on Thursday afternoon before fleeing the area, with officers quickly locating and arresting two of the suspects, according to Anne Arundel County police.
The robbery was reported at about 4:40 p.m. in the 800 block of Sunflower Drive.
Police said the victim told officers he was approached by five male suspects who assaulted him, stole his cellphone and fled.
Responding officers located two of the suspects a short time later and took them into custody.
Those arrested were identified as:
- David Anuoluwapo Olugbemi, 27, of Odenton
- Terrence Farrell Mordecai Jr., 19, of Odenton
Police said both men were charged in connection with the robbery.
Detectives with the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Western District are continuing to investigate and are working to identify the remaining suspects.
