Florida Man Arrested for Armed Bank Robbery in Crystal City

ARLINGTON COUNTY, VA – The Arlington County Police Department has arrested a Florida man in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in Crystal City on Monday morning. On August 5, at approximately 11:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Bank of America located at 1425 S. Eads St.

Following reviews of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, police learned that the suspect had entered the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding money while implying he was armed. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed quantity of money. No weapon was displayed, and no injuries were reported during the incident.

The suspect, identified as 63-year-old Dave Jobson of Florida, was apprehended in D.C. on August 6. He has been charged with bank robbery and is being held in D.C. pending extradition to Virginia.
