Four Shot, One Dead in Philadelphia Saturday Night

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Late Saturday night, Philadelphia police were summoned to the scene of a shooting at 9xx S. 58th Street. The call, which came in at 10:37 PM, led to the discovery that two victims had already been transported to local hospitals by private vehicles.

A 23-year-old male victim, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, was pronounced dead at HUP-Cedar at 11:18 PM. Another victim, a 20-year-old male, was treated for a gunshot wound to the right leg and is reported to be in stable condition at Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center.

Additionally, two 20-year-old females, both with multiple gunshot injuries, were taken to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center and are also in stable condition. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and as of now, no arrests have been made.

This violent incident is under investigation by the Homicide Unit, and authorities are seeking any leads to help apprehend those responsible.
