Franklin Township Police Blotter: Dumpster Diving and Reported Burglary

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ – Franklin Township Police reported the following incidents which took place in the township last week.

A Somerset resident reported a suspicious person rummaging through a dumpster located on his property on Amwell Rd. during the morning hours. The unknown suspect left the area prior to the police response.

A Roselle resident reported a burglary to his vehicle while it was parked overnight in the area of Yaworsky Way. The unknown suspect(s) smashed a window and stole $2400.00 worth of property from the victim’s vehicle.

A Somerset resident reported the theft of his package from the area of Barron Circle. The contents were valued at $2200.00. The suspect(s) is unknown.

Joshua M. Hrabec, 31, of Somerset was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Maryland. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail to await extradition.

A Somerset resident reported a burglary to her unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours of 07/09/22 into 07/10/22 by an unknown suspect(s) in the area of Cooper Ave. Sunglasses valued at $400.00 were taken from the vehicle.
