Frederick, MD – On Sunday evening, Chief Lando officiated the swearing-in ceremony for two new members of the Frederick Police Department’s Auxiliary Unit. Officers Haroon Khan and Paul Lamendola were formally inducted into the unit.
The Frederick Police Auxiliary Unit consists of volunteers who support various major events, including races, parades, and community gatherings. This unit plays a vital role in maintaining event safety and allows police officers to focus on emergency calls.
The department expressed gratitude for the commitment shown by these volunteers. Acknowledgment was also given to Sgt. Carrado for organizing the ceremony.
