Frederick’s Annual PRIDE Celebration Set for This Saturday

June 18, 2024

FREDERICK, MD — The city of Frederick is gearing up for its annual PRIDE Celebration and Festival, which will take place this Saturday, June 22, from 11 AM to 6 PM at Carroll Creek Linear Park. Attendees can expect a day filled with festivities, community, and celebration.

Due to the event, East Street will be partially closed to accommodate the expected large crowds. Motorists are advised to anticipate delays and plan their routes accordingly. With temperatures predicted to be high, the event organizers have arranged for heat mitigation measures. Free water stations will be available at key entrances, and a cool-down room will be set up inside the C Burr Artz Library.

The Frederick Police Department will be present to assist with traffic control and ensure safety throughout the event. Attendees are encouraged to approach on-site officers with any concerns. For more information about the PRIDE Celebration, visitors are invited to check The Frederick Center’s website or contact them directly.
