Friday the 13th delivered a $3 million windfall to a lucky Pittsburgh lottery player

PITTSBURGH, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery player in Allegheny County is celebrating after winning a $3,057,169.50 jackpot in the Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing on Friday, December 13.

The winning ticket, sold at the Giant Eagle located at 910 Freeport Road in Pittsburgh, matched all five numbers drawn: 1-34-37-40-42. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Cash 5 with Quick Cash players also won more than 48,800 additional prizes in the same drawing. Lottery officials urge players to check their tickets and claim any prizes at authorized retailers.

The winner, who remains unidentified until the ticket is claimed and validated, has one year from the drawing date to claim the jackpot. Quick Cash prizes, which are available with this game, must also be claimed within one year of purchase.
