Fugitive Wanted for Shooting in Wildwood Sought by Police

Wildwood, NJ — The Wildwood Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to locate William C. Hoyle, identified as the suspect in a recent shooting.

The incident took place on Tuesday at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the 3800 Block of Pacific Avenue. An arrest warrant has been issued for Hoyle.

Anyone with information about Hoyle’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Wildwood Police Department’s Detective Division at 609-522-0222.

The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and the Wildwood Police Department are actively investigating a shooting that occurred in the 3800 block of Pacific Avenue in Wildwood, NJ. The incident, which took place recently, resulted in the injury of an innocent bystander who is currently in critical condition at Atlantic Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.

The suspect has been identified but remains at large.
