Fugitive Wanted for Triple Shooting in Philadelphia Involving Young Child

Perp shoots three and himself in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department, along with the Shooting Investigation Group, is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent shooting incident. The violent event occurred on May 23, 2024, and resulted in injuries to three individuals.

The confrontation began when an unknown Hispanic male was knocked off his scooter by a black sedan on the 300 block of E. Allegheny Ave. In response, the suspect discharged several gunshots, leading to three victims being hospitalized.

A 47-year-old female is in critical condition with a gunshot wound to her face. A 45-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to his leg but is in stable condition, and an 8-year-old child received a graze wound to the head but is also stable.

Following the shooting, the suspect, who appeared to suffer an injury to his right ankle and leg during the incident, was observed limping away from the scene.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with black hair and a beard, medium complexion and build. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with a ‘GAP’ logo on the center chest, black track pants, and one white sneaker.

Authorities are appealing to anyone who may have information regarding the suspect or the incident to come forward to aid in the ongoing investigation.
