Gang Unit Makes Multiple Arrests in Midtown Manhattan

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department has reported multiple arrests made within the Midtown South area on Saturday and Monday.

The individuals were apprehended on charges including Assault on a Police Officer, Gang Assault, Obstructing Governmental Administration, and Disorderly Conduct.

The arrested individuals are Yorman Reveron, Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel, Wilson Juarez, Kelvin Servita Arocha, and Jhoan Boada.

These arrests followed an incident on Saturday, where officers attempted to disperse a disorderly group near 220 West 42 Street. A physical altercation ensued, leading to officers being assaulted. The assailants fled eastbound on West 42 Street towards 7 Avenue. The officers sustained minor injuries and were treated on the scene.

The NYPD continues to investigate the matter and seeks public assistance in identifying other individuals involved.
