Garden State Parkway Backed Up Near Clifton, Woodbridge

As of 8:10 a.m., a disabled vehicle is causing disruptions on the northbound Garden State Parkway, just south of Exit 156 for US 46 in Clifton. The right lane is currently blocked, so drivers should anticipate delays in the area.

In Newark, a crash on Port Street eastbound, just east of Brewster Road, has resulted in a center lane closure as of 8:05 a.m. Motorists traveling through the area are advised to proceed with caution and expect potential slowdowns.

Westbound I-280 is experiencing delays between East of Stickel Drawbridge in Harrison and Exit 13 for Orange Street/1st Street in Newark. Current travel time through the affected stretch is estimated at 5 to 10 minutes as of 8:08 a.m.

On NJ 3 eastbound in Clifton, heavy traffic persists from East of the Garden State Parkway to East of Passaic Avenue. However, travel times remain relatively short, estimated at less than 5 minutes as of 7:43 a.m.

Southbound Garden State Parkway drivers should also expect delays exiting at Exit 130B-A for US 1 in Woodbridge Township. These delays, reported as of 7:41 a.m., are attributed to heavy volume.
