The Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Northern District joined the event, supporting the festivities and commending the organizers. “The holiday spirit was in full force,” the department shared on social media, highlighting the collaborative efforts behind the tradition.

This year’s event paid special tribute to longtime community advocate Barbara “Barb” Moeller, honoring her contributions to Glen Burnie during the night’s celebration.

The tree lighting ceremony serves as a beloved annual tradition, uniting neighbors in a shared sense of joy and community spirit.
