Governor Hogan Announces State to Double Reward to $100,000 For Information on Person of Interest in Fatal Baltimore Fire

ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today announced that the State of Maryland will double the reward first announced by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Baltimore Field Division for information about a person of interest in the fatal fire that led to the deaths of three firefighters earlier this week:

“As we continue to mourn our fallen heroes, we are conducting an aggressive investigation into the cause of the fire that took their lives.

“In coordination with our federal and local partners, the state is immediately doubling the reward for information in the case to $100,000. We urge anyone with tips or information regarding the person of interest to contact federal or state authorities.

“I want to thank all Marylanders for the tremendous outpouring of support for our firefighters and their loved ones.”

NOTE: Anyone with information in the case can contact ATF at 888-ATF-TIPS (888-283-8477) or ATFtips@atf.gov, or the State Fire Marshal at 1-800-492-7529 or msp.osfm@maryland.gov.
