Greenbelt police seek suspect in attempted armed robbery at pizza shop

GREENBELT, Md. — Police are searching for a suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery at DMV Pizza on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Officers responded to the restaurant, located at 151 Centerway, around 4:45 p.m. on November 27 after receiving a report of the incident. According to police, a suspect entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money from an employee.

The employee refused to comply, and the suspect fled the scene on foot, heading in the direction of Southway.

The suspect is described as a Black juvenile male dressed in all black clothing and wearing a ski mask.
