Gun-wielding suspects wanted in Southwest D.C. home invasion robbery

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery that took place Wednesday evening on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Southwest Washington. The incident occurred around 5:04 p.m. on October 30, when the suspects allegedly forced their way into a residence after confronting the victim in the hallway.

According to the victim’s report, one suspect approached him in the hallway before a second suspect entered, brandishing a firearm. The suspects then forced the victim into his home, stole property, and fled the scene.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects, which have been released by the police.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to come forward. Tips can be submitted by calling (202) 727-9099 or texting the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
