Police say multiple suspects fired several rounds into occupied residences before fleeing in a gray car.
DOVER, DE — Multiple homes were struck by gunfire Monday evening after several suspects opened fire in a Dover neighborhood before fleeing the scene, according to Delaware State Police.
The shooting occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. in the unit block of Ashby Lane in the Carlisle Village community.
Troopers responding to reports of gunfire learned that multiple unknown Black male suspects exited a gray vehicle and fired multiple shots before leaving the area.
According to investigators, two occupied homes on Ashby Lane were struck by gunfire. A third unoccupied home on nearby Coverly Court was also hit.
No injuries were reported.
The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the investigation.
