Police are asking for the public’s help after shots were fired at a Millsboro home with four people inside.

MILLSBORO, DE — State police are investigating a shooting that left multiple structures riddled with bullet holes in a Millsboro neighborhood late Wednesday night.

Delaware State Police responded around 9:38 p.m. Wednesday to the 26000 block of Mount Joy Road following reports of a shooting. According to the preliminary investigation, an unidentified suspect fired an unknown number of rounds at a residence.

A house, shed, and three vehicles were struck by gunfire during the incident. Four individuals were inside the residence at the time, but authorities confirmed no injuries were reported.

The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the probe. Detectives are currently working to identify the suspect and determine a motive behind the shooting.
