NEW YORK, NY — The NYPD is searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a double shooting inside a Bronx building earlier this month that left two men wounded and sent chaos through a busy stretch of Fordham Road.

According to police, the incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, inside 342 East Fordham Road, within the 46th Precinct. Two unidentified individuals opened fire, striking a 26-year-old man in the right leg and arm, and a 27-year-old man in the back.

Shooters fled on foot after firing inside Fordham Road location

After the shooting, both suspects fled eastbound on foot along Fordham Road, police said. Emergency Medical Services responded quickly to the scene and transported both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital. They are currently reported to be in stable condition.
