Victim tells investigators he does not know where he was shot after arriving at hospital with a friend
BALTIMORE, MD — A 21-year-old man walked into a Baltimore hospital with gunshot wounds early Sunday, telling investigators he did not know where the shooting occurred, according to Baltimore Police.
Police said officers responded to the hospital at approximately 5:23 a.m. Sunday, July 26, after receiving a report of a shooting victim seeking treatment.
When officers arrived, they found the 21-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim told officers he was unsure where the shooting took place but said a friend drove him to the hospital.
Southern District detectives responded to the hospital and assumed control of the investigation.
Police have not released the victim’s condition or identified a crime scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
