WOODBURY, N.J. — Authorities in Woodbury issued a public alert Thursday after law enforcement and hazardous materials teams converged on a residential intersection due to an active investigation.

According to the Woodbury City Police Department, there is an increased police presence near South Barber Avenue and Railroad Avenue. The department urged residents and commuters to avoid the area while the situation unfolds.
