Levittown Powerball player wins $50K at Hempstead Turnpike store

LEVITTOWN, NY — A lucky Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Levittown for the May 12 drawing, the New York Lottery announced Tuesday.

The third-prize-winning ticket was purchased at Bolla 3285 HMPSTD TPK C-Store, located at 3285 Hempstead Turnpike. The ticket matched four white balls and the red Power Ball to secure the $50,000 prize.

Powerball continues to deliver big wins across the state

Powerball numbers are drawn from a pool of 1 to 69, with the red Power Ball drawn from a separate pool of 1 to 26. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

Winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
