Henderson County Opens Disaster Recovery Center

Hendersonville, NC – Henderson County announced the establishment of a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) to aid residents affected by Hurricane Helene. The center is located at 2111 Asheville Highway, Hendersonville, NC 28791.

The DRC will commence operations on Wednesday, opening its doors from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. From Thursday onward, the center will operate daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The center aims to provide assistance utilizing federal, state, and local resources. Residents will be able to apply for FEMA aid through this facility.

This initiative is part of the county’s efforts to support the community’s recovery from the damage inflicted by the hurricane.
