HENRICO COUNTY, VA – A teenage boy has lost his life in a shooting incident that took place on Wednesday, early morning.
The Henrico County Police Department was alerted to the shooting at around 12:30 a.m. in the Audubon Village apartment complex on the 4900 block of Wood Thrush Circle.
The young victim, whose identity has not been disclosed due to state law and division policy, was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
During the investigation, another teenager was taken into custody. He is currently facing a petition of underage possession of a firearm, with the potential for more charges. Detective Seay, available at 804-501-7323, is open to any relevant information.
