Hillsborough County Deputies Apprehend Fleeing Suspect After Traffic Stop

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – Lebron Nelson, 20, was arrested on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, after fleeing a traffic stop. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies, aided by K9, street crimes, aviation, and patrol units, apprehended Nelson who attempted to hide in a gas station and then ran across Brandon Blvd.

Sheriff Chad Chronister commended the deputies’ efforts in the successful and safe arrest. Nelson faces multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and resisting an officer without violence.
