Holiday in July: Free Toy Giveaway for Kids in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Children in Toms River and surrounding towns are being invited to a free toy giveaway on Sunday. Offered as a “Holiday in July”, the event is a joint venture between the Toms River Police Foundation and the Toms River Jewish Community Council.

New York-based World of Giving and Toys for Tots are also supporting the effort.

A truckload of free toys will be on-site at the RWJ Barnabas Health Field of Dreams. The giveaway starts at 2 p.m. at 1505 North Bay Avenue.

Children from surrounding towns are also invited to participate.

Booky Kaluszyner, of the TRJCC said there are palettes full of toys waiting to be given to youngsters who show up from all different ranges of interests.

All of the toys are new and unopened and will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
