Homeless Woodbridge WaWa Robbery Suspect Arrested

Woodbridge, VA – Officers responded to a robbery at the Wawa on Richmond Highway at 12:48 p.m. on Monday.

A man, identified as Ralph Edon, entered the refrigerated section of the store, concealed an alcoholic beverage in his clothing, and attempted to leave. When confronted by an employee, Edon tried to strike the employee before leaving the store. Officers located Edon nearby and detained him without incident. No injuries were reported.

Ralph Edon, 42, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with robbery. He is being held on a $1,500 secured bond, with a court date pending.
