Homicide Investigation Underway in Franklin Lakes

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ – Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella has announced an ongoing investigation into a homicide that occurred in Franklin Lakes. The incident took place at 552 Haddon Place on Sunday, December 10, 2023.

Franklin Lakes Police responded to the scene at approximately 7:39 a.m., where they discovered the victim deceased. The identity of the decedent is being withheld until the next of kin are notified.

The investigation is jointly conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, led by Chief Jason Love, and the Franklin Lakes Police Department, under the guidance of Officer in Charge Captain Mark McCombs. At this stage, no additional details have been released to the public.
