The Southern Regional High School wrestling team used three pins, two major decisions and a technical fall to beat host Brick Memorial on Friday, 37-27.
Owen Kretschmer, Gianni Bennett and Joe Toci had pins for the Rams. Southern Regional got major decision wins from Matthew Barnett at 126 pounds and Pat Mooney at 152 pounds while Nick Suriano earned a 15-0 technical fall over Ron Hopping at 195 pounds. The Rams also won two decisions.
The Mustangs got pins from Nick Rivera, Matt Wardlaw and Gianni Ghione and won three matches by decisions.
