Huge beachfront indoor waterpark coming to Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On January 10th, Bart Blatstein, CEO of Tower Investments, Inc. and Owner of Showboat Atlantic City will join the Mayor of Atlantic City and other New Jersey political, community and business leaders will host a groundbreaking ceremony for one of the Jersey Shore’s latest attractions, a year-round indoor waterpark.

Showboat Atlantic City will be hosting the groundbreaking for its latest and most anticipated family entertainment venue the “ISLAND waterpark.” Philadelphia developer Bart Blatstein is doubling down on non-casino attractions by adding this entirely new concept of family-friendly entertainment to complement the Showboat’s massive 100,000 square feet “Lucky Snake” arcade and sports bar.

The 103,000-square-foot year-round indoor waterpark will feature water slides, pools and a lazy river, along with food & beverage and retail outlets, lounge areas and party rooms. A retractable glass-pane roof will cover the entire project to make it a year-round destination. ISLAND waterpark will be the largest beachfront indoor waterpark in the world. It will be constructed on the New Jersey Avenue beach block lot next to Showboat.
